Our wellness coaching is an effective form of care based on evidence-based principles derived from cognitive behavioral therapy, the most researched, supported form of psychotherapy. Wellness coaching is NOT about consulting, advice giving or being told what to do. It’s not about vision boards or journaling, magical thinking, or overnight success mindsets.

· Dealing with strong emotions such as anxiety
· Supporting cross cultural differences, and
· Helping to optimize relationships of all kinds
Wellness coaching is an intimate process that can be quite deep and emotional. Your Wellness Coach will help you make the space to more fully explore your thoughts, feelings, values, behaviors, and sense of purpose. We are trained to help uncover the root of problems, help understand difficult emotions, or assist in negativing thought patterns by helping to create a deeper understanding and broader context for your experience. Therefore, we mostly work with focusing on your present and future experiences, partnering with you to move into the realm of “action”. Although we're also trained to help individuals understand how the past may be holding them back, it is important to note that working through trauma is certainly within the realm of therapy.
In Wellness coaching most of the progress happens in between sessions. It is about co-creating practices that one can engage in to start making those behavior shifts in life.
