Our DOT-SAP Wellness Coaching service is available to help you make the space to more fully explore your thoughts, feelings, values, behaviors relative to your substance use concern. We are expert in helping to uncover the root of problems, understand difficult emotions, assisting in negativing thought patterns and helping to create a deeper understanding and broader context for your substance use and/or life choices.
We mostly work with focusing on your present and future experiences and expectations, partnering with you to move into the realm of “action”. Our Wellness Coach is also a licensed Mental Health Professional with a wealth of experience helping individuals understand how the past may be holding them back. That said it is important to note, working through co-occurring clinical disorders or trauma would certainly fall within the realm of therapy.
In DOT-SAP Wellness coaching most of the progress happens in between sessions. Therefore you can expect your Wellness Coach to co-create an appropriate action or treatment plan with you to begin making those behavior shifts to appropriately support you in addressing the substance use concern.
